How much does Bulk Billed Insemination (IUI) Cost?
At Life Fertility Clinic we will bulk bill all the Medicare Items associated with your insemination (IUI) treatment cycle.
There is a breakdown of your costs with Medicare Item codes in the table below, but your out-of-pocket costs at Life Fertility Clinic will be approx. $275, and your medication (paid to pharmacy) will be approximately $50.
If you are having treatment using Donor Sperm you can expected to pay an extra $2,070 per cycle.

How much does Bulk Billed Insemination (IUI) treatment using Donor Sperm cost?
In addition to the fees for your Insemination (IUI) treatment cycle you can also expect to pay the following fees (there are no Medicare rebates for these fees):
- Anonymous Donor Sperm – $1,400 (per bulk billed insemination/ IUI cycle)
- Coordination Fee – additional $700 (per bulk billed insemination/ IUI cycle)

All of your in-person appointments with our Fertility Doctors are bulk billed, and nursing appointments are free of charge.
How do I get started with Bulk Billed Insemination (IUI)?
Your first step would be to have a bulk billed appointment with one of our experienced Fertility Doctors. This would be at one of our Brisbane Clinics (Bowen Hills or North Lakes), or via a tele-consult if you live outside of Brisbane.
They will oversee your fertility investigations before determining your suitability for insemination (IUI) or IVF. This typically involves two bulk billed appointments with a Fertility Doctor, and one appointment with a Fertility Nurse (at no cost to you).
Your Bulk Billed Insemination (IUI) will be managed by our expert Fertility Doctors in partnership with our experienced and caring Fertility Nurses.
