Claire completed her medical degree at The University of Adelaide in 2009, and spent time working at The Alfred, Caulfield, and Sandringham hospitals, before undertaking her General Practice training in country Victoria. Claire has a passion for women’s and children’s health, and has developed her expertise in these areas by completing a Diploma of Child Health, Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Both in Melbourne and in Gippsland, Claire has taken great joy in supporting women and their families, from pre-conception, through pregnancy, through labour and delivery, and into those first precious and exhausting weeks, months (and years!) of parenting.
After spending 11 years working in General Practice, Claire looks forward to applying her breadth of knowledge to assist others in working towards creating a family. Without assisted reproduction, she would not have had her own children, and she appreciates both the stress and the anxiety that can surround this pathway, as well as the importance of honesty, warmth, and kindness from the medical team.
