General Practitioner – Pre Fertility & Women’s Health
Dr Ayodhya Jayasinghe is an experienced General Practitioner with a strong focus on women’s health, reproductive health, antenatal and postnatal care, and children’s health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and completed her medical training across Brisbane, Gympie and Noosa. Growing up in Canberra, Dr Jayasinghe completed degrees in Medical Science and Medicine at the Australian National University before moving into hospital roles across South East Queensland, including the Mater Adult, Mater Children’s, Mater Mother’s, Nambour General and Noosa Hospitals.
Dr Jayasinghe enjoys working collaboratively with patients to support their health and wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on clear communication and high quality, evidence based clinical care. Her warm and thorough approach helps patients feel supported and informed at every stage of their health journey.

Dr Jayasinghe works closely with A/Prof Devini Ameratunga, Medical Director and Fertility Specialist at Life Fertility Clinic. A/Prof Ameratunga is one of only a handful of CREI certified reproductive endocrinology subspecialists in Queensland and is highly regarded for her expertise in complex fertility care, pregnancy loss, assisted reproduction, ovulation induction, fertility preservation, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids and minimally invasive reproductive surgery.
Because A/Prof Ameratunga is often booked months in advance, Dr Jayasinghe provides comprehensive pre fertility assessment to help patients fast track their treatment journey. This includes detailed reproductive history, baseline investigations, hormonal screening, pre conception assessments, partner screening where relevant, and lifestyle optimisation to support fertility outcomes.
