Fertility and reproductive medicine are the core of Louise’s practice.
Having trained in Dublin in obstetrics and gynaecology, gaining membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK) and Irish Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Louise moved to Sydney in 2006.
This long-distance career objective was to join the RANZCOG training programme certificate of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. This solidified her expertise and allowed her to work with the founders of cutting-edge fertility treatment and develop surgical skills amongst the most accomplished gynaecological surgical practices in Sydney’s largest training hospitals.
Three years in Sydney provided a steadfast intention to pursue fertility as a sub specialisation.
Following completion of specialist training and FRANZCOG, Louise moved to Sydney permanently with her family.
She joined staff at royal Prince Alfred and after five years as a specialist in the inner west, moved to the east to work at The Royal Hospital for Women where she continues to work in fertility, obstetrics and gynaecology. She extends her clinical role to mentoring and advocacy for junior medical staff training in obstetrics, gynaecology, fertility and reproductive medicine.
Louise has almost two decades of experience in fertility, obstetrics and gynaecology. Her commitment, dedication and a focus on evidenced based practice has touched many individuals and families. Education and patient advocacy are pivotal in accessing care for all.
This will continue for generations to come.
