When is Life Fertility Clinic Spring Hill moving?

Our new clinic at Bowen Hills is nearly complete and our two Spring Hill Clinics will move in mid-July.

We will stagger the closures of our Spring Hill Clinics so that we can remain open for doctor consults, nursing appointments and scans during our move to the new Clinic.

Our Clinic at North Lakes remains open and is not moving. However patients who attend our North Lakes clinic will also be affected when we pause procedures for the move.

Our St Andrew’s Place Clinic – which includes our embryology lab, andrology facilities, treatment
rooms, and Bulk Billed program – will move to our new clinic at Bowen Hills from July 14.

Approximately a week after that our Clinic at Level 7, St Andrew’s Hospital will relocate.

When will Life Fertility Clinic Bowen Hills open?

We expect to open our Bowen Hills Clinic to patients in our Bulk Billed Program from Monday 19 July.

We expect to open our Bowen Hills Clinic to Dr Sterling’s Full Service Program patients from Wednesday 28 July.

Are the phone numbers changing?

Our phone numbers are not changing.

Will the clinic remain open during the move?

The Clinic will remain open during this time, and you can contact us as per normal.

There will be some very limited down-time for doctor consults, nurse appointments and scans. This is expected to be 2 to 3 days at each of our Spring Hill Clinics.

Our team are all still available for over the phone support throughout this time, and our phone numbers will remain the same.

However, procedures will stop for approximately 4 weeks. This is to allow us time to safely relocate
and validate our new embryology laboratory.

When will procedures pause?

We will pause procedures for approximately 4 weeks, this is expected to be from July 14 to August
14. This includes egg collections, embryo transfers, intrauterine insemination and TESA’s.

This means that we will also stop new cycles for a period of 4 weeks.

For egg collections:

  • Last Day 1 for egg collections – Mon 21 June
  • Last egg collection at Spring Hill – Wed 7 July

For frozen embryo transfers (FET’s):

  • Last Day 1 for FET’s – Fri 25 June
  • Last FETs at Spring Hill – Tues 13 July

When will procedures start?

We expect procedures to start at our Bowen Hills Clinic in mid-August. This is approximately 4 weeks after they have been paused.

This means we will be taking new day 1’s for egg collections and FETs from the end of July.

We will keep you updated with exact dates closer to this time.

What can I expect at the new Clinic?

We will be one team, in one purpose-built location, servicing patients in The Full Service and Bulk
Billed Program.

We will have:

  • A spacious new embryology laboratory and andrology facilities
  • Two procedure rooms
  • Dedicated patient recovery area
  • More nurse education rooms
  • More doctor consulting and scan rooms
  • Larger patient waiting areas

Where can I park?

Please be sure to use the address 1/36 Edmonstone Road if you are using your smart phone for directions.

There is limited free parking available on-site for patients, as well as plenty of metered street
parking. We recommend you download and use the Brisbane City Council CellOPark app – this
allows easy payment of metered parking based on the actual parking time.
