Dr Elizabeth Butler BSc Ph D

DR ELIZABETH BUTLER, BSc PhD

Scientific Director

Elizabeth (Liz) Butler is an experienced clinical embryologist with a Ph.D. in developmental biology. She has set up and run fertility treatment laboratories internationally, providing high specification facilities focused on the perpetuation of excellent technical skills and procedures.  Liz was delighted to be invited to join the team at Life Fertility Clinic. She maintains a global dialogue with the fertility treatment community to continually improve Life Fertility Clinic’s scientific services.

 
 

Carolyn menegazzo, BSc

Embryologist

Carolyn is an experienced clinical embryologist and medical laboratory scientist. After completing her embryology training with Sydney IVF, Carolyn  gained valuable experience supervising their  laboratory in Canberra before joining the Life Fertility team in early 2008. Carolyn has a strong commitment to providing quality care and support for couples through their IVF journey.

   
   
 

TANASHA NANDY BSc 

Embryologist

Our laboratory team benefits from the contribution of Tanasha Nandy. Tanasha comes to Life Fertility Clinic with extensive laboratory and scientific experience. Tanasha gained particular experience as a laboratory technician and subsequently as an embryologist with an IVF clinic in Canberra. Additionally, Tanasha  was employed as an inspector for the National Health and Medical Research Council. During  this period she was actively involved in the “Research Involving Human Embryos Act 2002” and the “Prohibition of Human Cloning for Reproduction Act 2002”.

   
   
 

KARLEE HODGE BSc

Embryologist

Karlee is a Canadian by birth, but has lived and worked in many locations.  She originally attended university in California at Irvine completing a degree in science, majoring in biology.  After completing her studies she returned to Canada and was employed at Calgary for the Regional Fertility Program.  Subsequent to this employment Karlee moved to New Zealand to work as an embryologist for Fertility Plus in Auckland.  She has now happily become part of the team at Life Fertility Clinic having moved to Australia to join to her “Australian” fiancé.  Of course at Life we all know she has come to live in the “best bit” of Australia.

   
   

MARTA GUTIERREZ BSc

Embryologist

Marta completed her studies at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine graduating with a Master of Science in Molecular Biology.  Marta completed her training as an embryologist and has held supervisory roles internationally  in an IVF laboratory in Spain, and subsequently in  Brisbane.  Her dedication to providing personalized quality care and support to the patients at Life Fertility Clinic, along with her friendly and positive manner makes her a valuable member of the Life team.
